Over the last few weeks, I have spoken to many of you about issues you face concerning the over-use and potentially illegal on-street parking relating to the Mercedes garage and employees of O2 on the Bath Road.
I understand that many of you are unable to park your own vehicles safety in the road; local businesses are suffering, and the roads and pavements are often blocked. Despite raising these concerns with the local Labour councillors and the traffic enforcement department at Slough Council, these concerns have largely been ignored by them.
In response, I am currently in the process of gathering feedback from as many residents as possible in the immediate area so that I can draw up a better picture of the problem and work on behalf of residents to sort the problem out as best I can.
I will be door-knocking you over the next couple of weeks in the evenings – so you can talk to me about it directly. You can also send me feedback direct via email to [email protected] or call me on 07972 229211, and you can send feedback using the survey at the bottom of this page.
I consider this to be a big miss by both the council and our local Labour councillors. Let’s make a stand and try to tackle the issue together.
