Commenting on his selection as our candidate in Langley Kederminster, Chandra Muvvala said;
"Councillors play a major role in terms of how safe/clean/green the town is. So it is quite essential to select right councillors but only 30% of the people are voting in Slough local elections. We all want to live in a better town and we deserve more.
We have been seeing more than 10 years of Labour council failures in Slough. Slough is closely located to Heathrow/London, connected well with major motorways and we have largest trading estate in Europe. We have all the potential to be the best town in Berkshire/South East of England, but we know what is Slough like.
Having worked successfully in major corporate companies in management/technical positions now I decided to spend more time for my local community. I have been living in Langley for 15 years and am aware of the local issues and determined to be part of the change. I feel being a Councillor is the best way to come close and help the community. Hence I decided to stand as a Conservative councillor from Langley Kedermister ward.
