Commenting on the announcement of her selection as a candidate, Patricia O'Connor said;
"I am delighted to have been selected by Slough Conservative Association to stand as their candidate in Cippenham Green for the upcoming elections on Thursday 6th May. Cippenham Green is a ward very close to my heart, having served here from 2007 to 2014.
As we emerge from this terrible pandemic, building our communities back better has never been so important. If elected, my mission will be to deliver serious change for our local community- tackling the issues which matter to you; whether this be traffic, local crime, air quality or housing.
At this election, we have a choice to make- between an increasingly out-of touch and unaccountable Labour controlled administration- or a strong local Conservative team willing to provide the energy, and drive to build back better.
This means championing our local businesses, providing opportunities for our young people, and keeping Council Tax low to keep as much of your money in your pockets as possible.
I look forward to reconnecting with the wonderful residents of Cippenham Green; and working together once again, to deliver for you and your families"
