I am Subhash Mohindra designated councillor for Upton ward Langley and live with my partner Vir Mohindra professional Accountant and head of finance and I have two grown up boys who are also qualified accountants working in Senior positions in Multi-National
Companies.
Moved to Slough Langley in 1998 because of my children education as they could have a good education in grammar school.
I have several years’ experience in financial sector of companies like British Airport Authority, Dresser Euro (American Oil company) Daimler Chrysler (Mercedes Benz)
Volkswagen Fleet Management act and also worked in NHS.
I became a Councillor in 2023 because I wanted to give something back to the community that had been so welcoming and given me a home. I love living in Slough, and I’m proud to work towards making it an ever-better place to live and an ever-stronger community. I love
serving our diverse, exciting community and fighting for our vision of the Town Centre: an ever fairer, greener, and better place where everyone can live their whole lives happily with good homes, good jobs, and good services meeting their needs—old or young, families with
children.
I am a firm believer that every resident of Slough has a right to have their voice heard, to feel that they belong and are welcomed here and that their aspirations and beliefs are respected.
I believes that there is a need to invest in and improve the vitality of our Town Centre, our fantastic community groups across the town, and the basic infrastructure that we use every day such as highways, footpaths and services. I promise to always use his position as a Councillor to fight for these basic improvements at every opportunity to allow our town to grow and thrive sustainably and safely.
Outside of politics and being a Councillor, I have many interests to properly devote enough time like reading books /listening music and singing /Playing Guitar, helping charities in raising funds / Playing Chess /Squash /Cricket /Football.
