Councillor Robert StedmondRobert Stedmond is from Ireland and moved to Slough in 1997. He works at Oracle Cloud Servies as a Senior Site Reliability Developer and is a Slough Borough Councillor.
Robert’s volunteering work started during lockdown initially helping residents who were isolating by doing their grocery shopping and collecting prescriptions. He helped in the vaccination centre at Salt Hill becoming one of the lead volunteers and completing over 500 volunteer hours at the centre. His willingness to help others has not ceased including assisting at the Superhero disability sports events and at the Slough Anti-Litter Society repair cafes. Robert was awarded for his “part in enhancing the life of the community” by the Royal County of Berkshire High Sherrif in March 2023.
